The popular Lincoln MKZ enters 2010 with plenty to like. The car is powered by a 263-horsepower 3.5L V6, which is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with manual mode. The Lincoln MKZ comes as either front-wheel or all-wheel drive with an EPA rating of 18 mpg city/28 mpg highway. The nimble chassis employs a fully independent suspension with a multi-link rear and double wishbones up front. Four-wheel disc brakes provide the stopping power. For cars so equipped, in the event of a loss of grip, the Lincoln MKZ's intelligent all-wheel drive system quickly and seamlessly delivers the right amount of power to the wheels with the most traction to enhance grip. The Lincoln MKZ comes loaded with standard features including power heated and cooled leather front seats with memory, a rear parking aid, steering wheel audio and cruise controls, heated mirrors, SYNC voice-activated communications and entertainment system and dual-zone climate control.
